KANSAS SB175
This bill is to protect religious groups from infiltration and hijacking by people who do not adhere to the faith and religious beliefs of that group.

Kansas: The state House of Representatives voted 81-41-3 Wednesday in favor of SB 175, which had already passed in the Senate last year by an even larger margin and now heads to Gov. Sam Brownback’s desk for his signature. If signed into law, the measure would prohibit public colleges and universities from taking punitive action against religious student organizations that impose membership requirements related to their stated beliefs, specifically authorizing such groups to require that members adhere to and comply with the association’s sincerely held religious beliefs, including any related standards of conduct.
